The best technology partners don't take orders. They get so embedded in how your business actually works that some point their understanding of your processes becomes sharper than yours because they design the digital architecture that sustains them. They become a permanent fixture because they are reliable, committed, and irreplaceable. I say this because for some of my clients, I think
I am that person. I know what I've built for them. I know why it was built the way it was, the decisions, the compromises, the things that exist nowhere except inside my head. I know what it would take to reconstruct it, and I know what they don't have documented.
