Teque was approached by KFC, the famous chicken fast-food chain with a global presence, to create a benchmarking tool to measure gaps in its procurement capabilities. Teque took a collaborative approach to the project and conducted in-depth discovery sessions with KFC. We worked closely with the team to refine the project’s scope while taking into account their primary and secondary objectives. The discovery sessions allowed us to gain a clear understanding of KFC’s current practices, goals, and challenges.

KFC’s goal was to improve its procurement capabilities and wanted to identify these gaps and make the necessary enhancements. To tackle this issue, we proposed the development of a Procurement Capabilities Assessment tool that would allow KFC’s managers to train and enhance their departments.

In addition to addressing the procurement capabilities, KFC also sought Teque’s expertise in developing a new web application. This application was intended to enable team members to self-evaluate their performance against specific benchmarks. This self-assessment feature allows managers to assess the results and implement necessary changes in a time and cost-effective manner.

As partners, we collaborated closely to communicate a clear delivery pathway, instilling complete confidence in our collective vision. Teque’s team worked tirelessly to develop and implement the solutions that would improve KFC’s procurement capabilities and streamline the self-assessment process for KFC UK team members. Throughout the project, we remained committed to providing our clients with the highest level of service and ensuring that their needs were met.
